How To Draw by Aaria Baid

517Sn9omhtL._SX385_BO1,204,203,200_I’m not a kid, and this book is marketed for kids. I don’t even have any kids. Whether you have kids, or you want to learn to draw yourself, this book is pretty cool. As someone not super-skilled in the drawing arts, I prefer books marketed toward kids over those for adults – I feel like they make the learning process more straightforward and less confusing (maybe I’m just a kid at heart).

Aaria Baid’s How to Draw book offers a step-by-step guide in drawing basics and then graduates the learning to more difficult drawing tasks, while still making it easy to do.

More than learning to draw, you’ll learn all of the things that go into a good drawing. Some of the techniques you’ll learn are shading, foreshortening, using positive and negative space, making things to scale and proportionate. You’ll learn about drawing optical illusions and more.

This is more than an educational art book on drawing; it’s fun.

I got this sweet book from the publisher. I wasn’t required to write a review, but here it is anyway!
